Donhauser Law provided the buyer with comprehensive legal advice on the acquisition of all shares in GUME GmbH as part of a structured succession solution.
GUME GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Ostermünchen that has been established for over 35 years. The company develops and produces high-quality molded and composite rubber parts for customers in medical technology, mechanical and plant engineering and the electrical industry and has a strong market position in a specialized segment.
As part of the succession, the company was taken over by a specially founded acquisition company by entrepreneurs Marius Maier and Michael Obermeyer. Objectives of the new shareholders
is to further expand GUME's existing technical expertise and vertical integration with targeted initiatives in digitization, process optimization, marketing and sales and to take the company to the next stage of development.
The transaction ensures the long-term continuation of the company, carries out the generational change in an orderly manner and creates the basis for further growth.
Donhauser Law assisted the buyer side in structuring, legal due diligence, contract negotiation and implementation of the transaction and handled all corporate law issues.
